I write BTS Fics under the AO3 name pastelmuse (formerly pastel_daydream) and I write SKZ Fics under pseud starlost_daydream.

TRUE STORY: Once upon a time, I was a published author.
Life hit hard (as it so often does) and due to a myriad of reasons, I stopped writing.
I stopped writing for well over a decade.
Then I discovered k-pop and slowly got into RPF fan fiction*. One (very) early morning, I awoke from a dream witih an image and a line burning through my head: He looks happy.In my head, Hobi was looking very fondly at Jimin while he scrolled idly on his phone.Hobi: You look happy.
Jimin: Did I not seem happy before?What happened next can only be described as utterly magical. After almost 12 years of not writing, I suddenly sat down at my computer, a woman possessed. In a creative-induced frenzy, I wrote 115K in about ten short weeks.Ever since, I have been writing stories and falling in love with the art of writing all over again. I don't think I will ever accurately express what kpop (especially BTS) has done for me in helping me to find my way back to writing. Maybe someday I'll stop writing fanfic and dive back into original stories/publishing my work again, but for now...For now it's enough that I'm writing._{And let me reiterate that just because I engage with and write fanfiction that is often NSFW in nature, I do not ever assume to know anything about the real-life counterparts of my characters. My characters are just that: characters. They are not real. A lot of my writing is cathartic in nature -- a way for me to work through my own issues and purge past demons.
